WE CURRENTLY STILL HAVE A ‘NO External VISITOR / GUest’ RULE IN PLACE


GENERAL

  1. Guests using Avalon Touring Park facilities do so at their own risk. We accept no liability for loss or damage to persons or property/accommodation, and/or amenities that become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control.
  2. Avalon Touring Park accepts no responsibility for any damage to tents/awnings/units/vehicles due to adverse weather conditions.
  3. We reserve the right to cancel any booking due to adverse weather conditions.
  4. We have the right to remove anyone who is causing distress to us or other guests in the park.


BOOKINGS

  1. Minimum 2-night stay.
  2. Guests making the booking must be over 18 years of age and stay on the pitch for the duration of the holiday.
  3. Guests must also confirm they are staying for recreation or holiday purposes.
  4. It is your responsibility to check that all details on your booking confirmation are correct as we are unable to exceed capacity in peak season.
  5. Guests will be responsible for all family members and pets, including day visitors which must be pre-booked.
  6. Maximum of 6 family members per pitch (4 adults), including children and infants, 3 dogs, 1 car and 1 awning. This is to preserve peace and quiet for our guests.
  7. Additional cars must be pre-booked. A fee will be applied, and a designated parking area assigned for your vehicle on arrival.
  8. All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable to anyone else.
  9. Group bookings only by prior arrangement.
  10. No log burners are to be used in units.


ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES

  1. Arrivals – earliest arrivals are from 12:00 pm.
  2. The latest arrival is 8:00 pm. Any booking arriving after this time will be turned away unless you have pre-arranged with us.
  3. Departures – pitches must be vacated by 11:00 am. If not, an additional night fee may apply.
  4. Late departures – please request. Fees apply.
  5. Please ensure the unit and guests you arrive with are the same you pre-booked with. If this differs we have the right to refuse your booking.
  6. All new arrivals must stop and call in reception before entering the park


VISITORS

We currently still have a no external visitor/guest rule in place

  1. All visitors must be pre-booked or pre-arranged with us. Any day visitors must vacate the park by 10:00 pm. Additional fees apply to visitors.
  2. Unannounced visitors are not permitted and will not be permitted to stay. We do not allow additional visitors to be added during your stay; i.e. you cannot book as two guests and then add a third person to your booking through your stay.
  3. We have no additional parking for unarranged vehicles.
  4. We’ve provided the barrier system and 24-hour CCTV for the safety of our guests.
  5. For security, the main gates are locked from 11:00 pm – 7:00 am. There will be no vehicle access between these times. Pedestrian access only from 11:00 pm – 7:00 am.

 

FACILITIES

  1. Please note that our toilet /shower facilities are closed daily between 11:00 am – 1:30 pm, although this can vary.
  2. Produce may not always be available in our shop, we source local produce where possible and this is dependent on supply and demand.

 

PITCHES

  1. One vehicle per pitch unless pre-arranged.
  2. The pitch fee is inclusive of one dog (3 max to a pitch)
  3. The area around your pitch must be kept clear to enable grass-cutting and maintenance.
  4. Pitch requests – I am afraid we do not guarantee a choice of pitch
  5. A gazebo may only be placed on a pitch if an awning isn’t already in place.
  6. Your pitch number, pitching instructions and directions to it will be confirmed on Arrival.
  7. Any guest on the wrong pitch may be required to move.
  8. Tents cannot be substituted for an awning

 

ELECTRIC

  1. Standard pitch 6 Amp (pitches 1-70)
  2. Premier pitch 10 Amp (pitches 71-100)
  3. POWER AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING THIS IS PERMITTED- Payment for a pitch that includes an electric hookup is only suitable for light use in your unit.ie appliances such as kettles and fridges that are designed for camping, lighting and for charging handheld electronic devices
  4. Only one cable to be plugged into the post and adapters to increase your electrical capacity are not permitted.


CAMPER VANS AND VEHICLES

  1. All camper vans must be up to acceptable camper van standards and fully road legal.
  2. A van being slept in the back of cannot be considered a camper van.
  3. Commercial and sign-written vans/vehicles are not permitted even when towing.
  4. Converted vehicles must have the suitable paperwork to show the vehicle is up to all gas and electrical safety standards.
  5. All vehicles should abide by the 5mph speed limit. Please do not let underage children drive. This will result in prosecution by the Police.
  6. No driving around the site late at night.

 

SELF-CONVERTED VEHICLES

  1. We do accept self-converted vans that have the correct paperwork to accompany their vehicle. This must show that all and any appliances have been installed and fitted by a qualified electrician and gas specialist, showing that the work carried out conforms to appropriate health and safety standards. We may also ask for this paperwork.
  2. Any self-converted vehicles must be fully road legal.
  3. We do not accept converted commercial vehicles such as lorries, buses and horse boxes. Including large vans towing caravans.
  4. Any converted vehicle that does not apply to our terms and general safety will be refused entry for the safety of us and our guests.

 

NOISE LEVELS

  1. Any noise or disturbance which may cause a nuisance to other guests must be kept to a minimum after 11.00 pm – as a rule, if noise is audible outside of your accommodation this is considered too loud.


CHILDREN

  1. Children – please supervise your children at all times so that they do not disturb other guests.
  2. Children under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult when using the amenities and facilities.
  3. The road must not be played on. The road is in frequent use and as such should be treated as any other road.
  4. No ball games, kites or skateboards, scooters
  5. Bicycles are permitted when used in a safe manner
  6. No playing around facilities.
  7. Children must stay by their allocated pitch.
  8. We request that all children under the age of 18 must stay inside accommodation with an adult over the age of 18, i.e., children under the age of 18 are not permitted to sleep in awnings/tents/units without being accompanied by an adult.
  9. Dogs are not to be exercised or walked by children around the park
     

DOGS

  1. Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must follow our dog regulations.
  2. Dogs must be kept on short leads at all times.
  3. Please do not leave your pets unattended at any time
  4. Maximum 3 dogs per pitch.
  5. Dogs are not permitted inside the park buildings
  6. We do reserve the right to refuse or ask customers to leave should their dog's behaviour cause a nuisance, be aggressive or upset any guest
  7. Dogs are not to be exercised or walked by children around the park

 

AROUND THE PARK

  1. Please report to reception if you have a recovery vehicle attending.
  2. BBQs are permitted but must not burn grass bricks supplied at water points. Gas BBQs must never be left unattended due to the risk of fire or carbon monoxide poisoning.
  3. We do not permit the selling of any goods on-site.
  4. No mechanical or repair work is to be undertaken at the park.
  5. Under no circumstances do we allow any person or vehicle through the barrier unless previously arranged with reception.
  6. Windbreakers must not obstruct the thoroughfare between units as this constitutes a fire hazard.
  7. No fire pits unless pre-arranged with us.
  8. Any ground damage will have a fee applied to repair.
  9. We would expect guests and visitors to dress appropriately when on-site at our park. Guests are not permitted, for example, to walk around topless so as not to make other guests uncomfortable.
  10. Freestanding washing lines only.
  11. No hanging objects from any trees or bushes. This is to protect them from damage.
  12. No driving around the park after 11.00 pm
  13. All vehicles should abide by the 5mph speed limit. Please do not let underage children drive. This will result in prosecution by the Police.
  14. No recreational or remote-control vehicles can be used in the park, this includes motorised scooters

 

REFUNDS

  1. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing by either mail or email.
  2. If a cancellation is made within 28 days of your booking date, no refund will be given. However, you will be given the option to transfer the value of your stay to an alternative date within 12 months of your original booking date.
  3. If you fail to arrive on your booked date and have not notified us by 11:00am on the second day of your booking, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and offer the pitch to other guests. No refunds will be offered, and no exchange of dates will be available.
  4. If for any reason a person decides to leave the park before the end of their stay, refunds will not be given.
  5. If for any reason you cannot make your pre-arranged booking due to COVID reasons, no refunds will be given. We would advise that you take holiday insurance to cover any losses.
  6. Refunds are at the discretion of the management. If refunds are accepted, this will be minus a booking fee of £25.
  7. Refunds can take between 10-14 days.
  8. We are not liable for refunds in the event that may occur preventing you to attend your booking when circumstances are beyond our control such as a failed mot breakdown of a vehicle etc
  9. We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover any financial losses.

 

COMPLAINTS

  1. If you have any complaints during your holiday please raise this with a member of staff immediately as we cannot rectify the problem once you have left the park.
  2. Pitch Request – I am afraid we do not guarantee a choice of pitch.
