Our Park

Set in 13 acres we warmly welcome guests and ensure that every holiday with us is a smooth and enjoyable experience.


Situated just off the A39, the Isle of Avalon Touring Park is set in 13 acres centrally located within walking distance of Glastonbury ancient and medieval sites.

At the Isle of Avalon Touring Park you can enjoy the countryside with beautiful views of rolling farmland whilst still within easy reach of local amenities.

We welcome families and couples who wish to explore everything Somerset has to offer.

Our aim is to provide guests with a safe, peaceful and enjoyable holiday. We therefore ask that you read our terms and conditions carefully, to ensure that your stay with us will meet your needs.

Arrivals & Departures


Arrival is at 12 noon.

Departure is at 11am.

If you wish to extend your departure please ask at reception for fees. Or a late check-in can be arranged on request.

Recycling & The Environment


At present we recycle all glass, paper, cardboard, plastics and tins.

We kindly ask all of our guests to please take note of the clearly labelled bins provided at our bin points.

Touring & Camping Pitches

70 Standard Pitches

All weather. Level, good size. Individual hard-standing with electric hook-up (6 Amp) and adjacent parking. Grass area suitable for awning.

30 Premier Pitches

A larger, all weather pitch. Level, individual hard standing pitch with higher amp electric hook-up (10 Amp). Adjacent parking. Large grass area. Located in Blossom Avenue & Willow Walk.

50 Camping Pitches

A level grass area, with room for a car. No electric.

Glamping Pods

Ladies and Gentleman spacious showers. Ladies Private wash cubicles. 2 Self contained disabled showers. Hairdryers on request. Shaver points. Baby changing area (in disabled block)

Indoor dishwashing facilities Laundry & Ironing area (washing machines & tumble dryers & Hand-washing sinks)


Secure barriers for entering & exiting the park. Number plate recognition. 24 hour CCTV. Wardens available 24 hours a day

Shop & Off License

Well stocked shop and off license. Local produce, ciders and ales. Caravan and camping accessories. Calor Gas and camping Gas. Open daily through Summer season.

Family & Dog Friendly

We welcome all families at the Isle of Avalon touring park and like to offer you a very warm welcome and enjoyable stay. We do however ask parents/guardians to please abide by the general rules.


We please ask all parents/guardians to be responsible for their children at all times, especially when using the amenities. We ask that all children under the age of 9 be accompanied by an adult.

In the interest of safety scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, kites and ball games are not permitted on site.

Bicycles are permitted and may be ridden around the park if used in a safe manner. We kindly ask that bicycles are not ridden around the main entrance or reception area.

Please remember that the road is in constant use by vehicles, therefore children are strictly forbidden to play on the road.

The Isle of Avalon touring park is a dog friendly park. We welcome dogs to our park but we do give a polite reminder all dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times around the site.


Dogs are not permitted inside any of the park building. We do provided dog parking outside our toilet amenities and shop/reception.

Please exercise your dogs off the park to avoid fowling. Please ensure you clear any accidental fowling immediately for health and hygiene reasons.

Under no circumstances leave dogs unattended on your pitch if leaving the park.

We do reserve the right to refuse or ask customers to leave should their dogs behaviour cause a nuisance or upset any other guests or if any persons are not abiding by site regulations.

The Isle of Avalon Shop

In our on-site shop, you can purchase the little things you may have forgotten as well as lots of local produce.


From jams, chutneys and dressings to fresh locally baked bread cakes and ice cream. We also have plenty of craft beers, local ales and ciders. We now have a bean to cup coffee machine alongside a selection of Somerset tea and locally produced delicious and refreshing Hullabaloos lemonade. We do recommend you pre-order if there is something in particular that you would like to avoid disappointment.


Papers & magazines must be pre-ordered.


We offer Calor gas exchange and camping gas.


Fire pits are available for hire.


Shop opens 1st April – 1st October 9am-5pm

During the winter period a selection of produce is available in the reception area.
